We’re calling on the government to urgently introduce clean air zones in major cities, and to make sure the air we all breathe is safe by 2030.
A child's right to clean air shouldn't be a postcode lottery
Our names are Anna, Caroline and Vicky – and we’re fighting for our children’s futures.
We live in three of the UK’s biggest cities, where air pollution is dangerously high. One of us was in intensive care whilst pregnant, another has had to watch a daughter fight for her breath in hospital. We’re all desperate for change, which is why we’ve made this petition.
Like so many parents, we’re worried about the damage toxic air is having on our babies now, and the effects it will have on their health in the future.
But it doesn’t have to be this way – our government has a responsibility to act. That’s why we’re calling on them to urgently introduce clean air zones in major cities, and to make sure the air we all breathe is safe by 2030.
